Clementine McLemore
Clementine McLemore holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and certificate of studies in international business with a concentration in Spanish from the University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to graduating, Clementine worked at Goldman Sachs in their Private Wealth Management practice, where she analyzed asset allocation strategies across multi-million-dollar portfolios. Her background also includes consulting for small businesses in Washington State through the Business Impact Group, being the President of the Spanish Track in the Certificate of International Studies in Business Program, and being an education and events committee leader and consultant for Net Impact. As an Innovation Scholar at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Clementine works on topics related to financial literacy, business development, disaster recovery, education, and economic resilience. Originally from Mississippi and raised in Maryland, she is honored to work at the intersection of business and government to drive meaningful impact. Clementine is applying to study behavioral economics to understand how programs that strengthen pathways to economic mobility can incorporate human behavior biases and tendencies to drive uptake and adoption.
Goals
In the near term, I hope to study behavioral economics in the UK to understand how to develop programs that are informed by human behavior and thrive because of it. Over the longer term, I want to work as an implementer of these programs to innovate across geographies and cultural boundaries to facilitate more opportunities for a greater number of people.
